Cooking Ingredients:
- 250 gm boiled and chopped mushrooms.
- 2 finely chopped green chili.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 1 teaspoon turmeric.
- 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper.
- 2 tomatoes.
- 2 onions.
- 1 whole garlic.
- 1 teaspoon carrom seeds.
- 1 teaspoon whole cumin.
- 1 teaspoon white sesame.
- 100 gm boiled green peas.
- 20-30 gm Fresh coriander.
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder.
Easy Cooking Tips for Beginners
- Chop cauliflower and potato in small dices.
- Clean and blanch cauliflower and potato for 3-4 min in boiling water adding salt.
- Add 1-2 glasses of water to steamer.
- Pre-heat steamer before starting to cook recipe.
- Maintain temperature from low to medium heat cooking food in steamer.
- Avoid adding red-chili powder to recipe.
- Adding sesame to recipe helps promote weight loss.
Sauté Cooking Method:


- Add 1-2 spoon cooking oil in a pan and heat on low flame.
- Add whole cumin, sesame, salt, carrom seeds, pepper, turmeric and coriander to a pan.
- Mix well. Add 2-3 whole tomatoes, green chili, coarsely chopped onions and 4-6 garlic pieces to it.
- Apply lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
- Add boiled mushrooms to it as well.
- After whole tomatoes get tender. Grind it in a jar to make it a paste.
- Add tomato puree again back to a pan. And let it cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes to blend well.
- Mix well. Serve hot with roti or chapati.
